• ✓The guarantee and returns terms are published, dated and reachable from the checkout page — not only from an ad.
• ✓There is a working contact route: an email address or form that identifies who is behind the store.
• ✓The total shown includes shipping and any tax, with no charges appearing only on the final screen.
• ✓You are not being enrolled in a subscription or recurring charge. Read the small print near the order button — this is worth thirty seconds on any store.
• ✓You keep the order confirmation. It is what both a refund and a warranty claim are assessed against.
